Need help choosing anti-theft device

Maybe read my post again, and try to keep up this time. I'll type slowly.

I said that having a gun in the car doesn't do anything for you unless you're getting carjacked. The OP was asking about preventing the car from getting stolen, not carjacked.

Then, in another sentence, I merely mentioned I hope people aren't leaving them in the car, since that would be stupid. But I've seen some pretty stupid things.

I'm not sure what about those statements leaves you to believe I think people leave them in the car as a theft deterrent, or that I'm some Californian anti gun nut.

There's actually quite a contingent of gun lovers here, despite what the majority of politicians would lead you to believe.
