NEED HELP - Cracked housing pulling needle bearing

    In the process of upgrading my needle bearing to an ECGS bushing. In the process of removing my needle bearing, I broke my first puller tool and attempted to use a slide hammer and different puller tool while my second ecgs tool was on the way. The slide hammer method did not work and marred up the back of the factory needle bearing pretty bad. Ended up getting my second ecgs puller tool in the mail and easily removed the needle bearing, however somewhere in the process of that it appears that I put a slight crack into the housing that holds the bearing and the surface feels slightly marred on the right side of the crack. How big of an issue is this and what do I need to do?

    Update: I found a diagram of the front diff and it appears to be the actual diff case that is cracked part#41311-35100. Replace it right away or continue running it like this?

    There's a fair amount of force being applied there during operation. Unless it's a "run it until it blows" type trail rig, I would replace the case.

    Oof. Yeah, really those two choices, run it and see if it causes problems, or replace it

    I don’t have any advice other than what was offered, but I have to wonder how a bushing removal could have caused that issue, or if perhaps it was already present, or at least starting, due to some other much greater force.
