Need help deciding between 2 jobs

    Im really in a bind and need some outside help and not looking some stupid non logical answers so here it goes.

    Job 1
    Sales for local office systems comp
    Base + Com. + Res.
    Benefits afer 30 days
    Cell phone

    Pros: Well known, Stable, Great wprk enviroment, owner of the comp have been in the bus for 25 yrs,

    Cons: Low base but taking ovr accts so I get Res from day 1

    Job 2
    Sales for Corporate travel (convention travel)
    Base + Quarterly Com
    Benefits after 90 days

    Pros: More money for base

    Cons: I was suppose to start with this comp about 2 week ago and they called 20 mins before I was supoose to start and said i couldnt, Poor communication with sales director, Ive been after these ppl for 2 months bc they offered me the job and never followed up with me



    Thoughts anyone?

    Buy the looks of it, Job #2 has a communication problem.. That's a huge red flag for me right there.. 20 min before you were to start working, no thanks. Hopefully they paid you for the day..

    My opinion?? If that company is that shotty and getting you into work, they don't seem very dependable and professional. I would go with the first one as long as the base pay isn't too low to manage.

    the only reason im still considering Job #2 is bc they are offering 13,000 more then job #1 but then again with my residuals ill have additional 5,000 above my base off the bat. This sucks but in a good way.
