I see that now but you have to get the premium package which will run you an extra $3,340. Buy a sport with the manual and it's a free upgrade.

Isn't that list for the 17s? Also shows a TRD Sport Access Cab. I never seen one of those.

I don't ever remember seeing an Sport Access cab here in Canada. I went to the US site and see that you can build a Sport access cab but it's not available in Canada.

From the US site it says to get the leather you have to buy the premium upgrade.

It’s doesnt matter really. Your could buy a 4x4 sr5 and for the 8-10k you would save your could make it better then an off-road with front and rear lockers and have some cash to probably make it look cooler too with some fun visual upgrades. But I am very happy with my off-road and don’t regret my decision at all.

Sr5 does not have stamped holes in the sheetmetal for fender and bedside flares if that is important to the OP.

Good point I forgot about that. Those can be added though, with some ingenuity.

Easier said than done considering it is a stamped square hole that fits a certain Toyota only clip. Heads up for anyone trying to remove and install there flares . All the clips tend to break and I would recommend buying the replacements ahead of time.
I found out when I was cutting the flares for my cbi bumper . Of course if OEM look is not important than you could just go with an aftermarket flare and OEM stamp holes wouldn't be an issue.

Lol, yes the TW weekly lets shit on the sport thread instead of answering the question nicely.

First, you said Manual trans so that's important first step, or win as I hear and read the auto trans is not well loved. But you don't get crawl control the auto ORs get. The Clutch cancel start is considered the Manual trans crawl control, which is in all Taco manual trans.

Second, you said your lifting it, so that negates how they ride stock.

I also think you said your replacing tires, which I think the off road Goodyears are better than the Toyos my sport came with, but I like the aggressive look. I would think the Toyos probably handle better on the road at speed.

So that really leaves you with the looks and added features. In my opinion the sport is over priced compared to the Off Road, but when I saw the sport, both my son and I said yes. So I ordered a Sport manual trans and waited impatiently for it to arrive. If I had been on TW before shopping, I probably would have ended up with the pro.

I am not a fan of all the electronics, as in my mind it's more crap to fail and cost money to replace.

So answer your own question by answering the following. Sporty looking truck or truck with a locker.

Also can't get the V6 in manual trans unless you step up to the TRD line.

I have a 2016 TRD Sport. Love my truck to death but knowing what I know now the OR has some significant advantages, namely the factory E-locker and a hydraulic brake booster versus typical vacuum booster. The advantage is that supposedly the electric booster allows one touch brake bleeding on the side of the road, though I don't have experience using the system I read that somewhere

The vacuum booster allows easier modulation of the brakes pedal. The hydraulic boost is sensitive when applied and God help you if that system fails $$$$.

Why are you bleeding brakes of the side of the road?

You'd think you'd get the manual in an SR5????? That's surprising....

3rd Gen never had a Manual SR5, the SR did have it but got cancelled.

I vaguely remember SR5 standing for something along the lines of Sport Rally 5 Speed too.
