Hey guys need some good advice here on my new tacoma. I am replacing a 99 4runner with one of 2 choices at the dealer......
A/ 2013 trd dbl cab long box trail teams edition w. supercharger. 10,000 km or 6,000 miles no nav no touch screen just Bluetooth Trail teams edition in canada comes with roof rack trd exhaust side rails
    Or
B/ new 2014 trd sport leather with entune and gps. No roof rack no side rails no trd exhaust

Both are roughly the same price..

The reason why I am putting this out to you guys is this. I will have a load on it of about 800 lbs all the time. Occasionally will be pulling a trailer of gear that is about 4500 lbs. I will have a cap shelving and film gear. I have heard that the supercharger works harder under load and that the engine runs hotter. I plan on keeping the truck for at least 12 years. I like the trail teams package and the supercharger is a nice bonus. No I wouldn't take it off to sell it I'd leave it the way it is. I also don't need the supercharger to drive fast off the line. I have a sports car for that. This is just for hauling gear around. Like I said it will be under load 99 percent of the time. I've owned tacos before and I have a 20 year old hilux diesel in South America so I know the quality. Just don't know anything about the superchargers
    Thanks
