I did some research before and as far as toyota the 4.7 v8 would be the easiest and more or less will bolt in. The problem is axle to oil pan clearance. I dig your setup with the low stance, most sas rigs are too tall imo

86 Buick intercooled 3.8 turbo v6 would pretty much drop right in and is my dream after a new frame:fingerscrossed:FDF981A5-F01B-4820-A01A-387EEC55DE25.jpg

@US Marine I have seen some very nice conversions with the LS, but I am not a Chevy guy.

@DW85 That's my dream setup. Coyote with a 6 speed manual. Some people say its to wide to fit. Not sure if I can recall seeing one done yet.

Wicked fucking truck dude. Why is an LS swap not an option?

Edit: sorry should have read your reply to the same question above.

@Steves104x4 Whats the benefit of that? I already have a V6 now, and I have thought about just tossing a supercharger on it. Not sure if I would go through that much trouble for another V6.

@jowybyo Thank you sir. Mostly because I am a ford guy. LOL, however I still appreciate a nice build and there are lots of other trucks with LS engines. I would kinda like to be a little different.

    Okay no problem !!!

How about Coyote motor with a VMP stage 3 supercharger, 105mm TB and VMP cams

There's a guy on YouTube that put a 5.8litre GT500 motor in a crown vic with VMP performance parts and made 1100rwhp !!! , that's 907fwhp from a stock bottom end GT500 motor !!

Go to 9:30 into the video and start watching !!

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Have you ever measured a Coyote motor. They're massively wide, like I doubt you could get it where it needs to be with how skinny the frame is on a first gen. Plus they're very expensive to make power with compared to just about any other V8
