Yep, but I think I may have found a 4x4 access cab 2.7 5-speed for $12,500 with 105,xxxmi. Only problem is it's for sale in a town very close to the ocean which scares me (frame rust). May just have to bite the bullet and drive down there to check it outo_O

Ya try to stay away from rust if you plan to build it, makes everything a pain in the ass.
Sounds like a good deal tho if its clean. Ask for pics on the undercarriage.

Thanks. 300K miles on a Toyota is a walk in the park. 400K miles has been done. There's a thread on TW where a member documented every single repair he did for 400K miles. It was all basic maintenance stuff. Alternator, starter, wheel bearings, brakes, oil changes, etc.

Maintenance is key! My father has a tahoe with 150,000 on it that he was going to give me but it 'had too many miles to last as long as you need it to' so here I am! Hopefully I can get him to understand that these trucks last longer than from when he was a young man buying used cars (80-90's).

ask for a detailed video of the frame, and look for multiple vehicles to check there just in case that one does not work out so u do not waste the day.

Not my choice :pccoffee: hopefully I can find an access cab with similar specs to the red truck.

    Single cab pluses.

Can only haul 1 buddy at a time. (Less peer pressure to do stupid stuff)
Harder to have sex in than a double cab
Better gas mileage than a double cab
    Easier to park
    $7K cheaper than the budget
More incentive to practice safe sex since there's no room for a baby seat

Bench seats are better for getting road head.

Funny I originally wanted a jeep with a 5-speed, but the Mom shot that down quickly.:( Apparently everyone in her small-town where she grew up flipped a jeep :angrygirl: I actually learned to drive stick in a jeep but the Tacoma was the next best thing;)
