I've been stuck deciding between the Duratracs and BFG AT's myself... I can vouch for the BFG's because I had a set of them years ago on a '95 Nissan Pathfinder. I beat the hell out of them on and off road through the full range of seasons up here in New Hampshire for 55k miles before I traded that rig in. I'm leaning towards them for the Tacoma, but I like the slightly more aggressive look of the Duratracs. In the end it's a coin toss I guess.

x3. I got all 4 installed for 600 after a rebate from hankook. I didn't get to try them out in the snow yet, but they handled well offroad. I went with a 265/75/16, and I still get the same mpg as stock.

X4. I've got about 25000 on mine and they're about half gone. I'll run them through winter into next summer and they'll be done for sure probably around 45k

Actually, where OZ-T lives snow is a fairly rare occurrence and isn't likely to stick around long.

Just mounted some Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx's on mine, no lift, 265-75-16, with stock mud flaps, no rub (on road driving).

Decently priced locally and was going to buy Duratrac's but they weren't available.

About 30 miles on them, so far so good. Stiffer sidewall makes it feel stable cornering now.
