ive been struggling with the flashy light indicator.
been through all the hassle of pulling the actuator and soldered the connections and it worked fine for about two months
two days ago i was hauling a 6x12 trailer loaded down with logs through a muddy field.
i locked it in 4hi. it went into 4wd perfectly and i made it across the field just fine.
i left the truck in 4hi and turned the truck off to unload all the logs.
i get back in and crank it up; low and behold, the green 4wd indicator light starts flashing. (here we go again)
    New Issue:
Now, it seems that even when i switch back to 2hi, the light still flashes and the truck stays in 4wd (i got under the truck and checked the front drive shaft to make sure...definitely stuck in 4wd)
i was able to get it back in 2wd by turning the dial to 2hi and turning off the truck, and then cranking it right back up again. (light stops flashing when i do this)
now, whenever i want to engage 4wd, i have to turn the dial to 4hi, then turn off the truck and turn it back on again.
even though it engages into 4hi, the indicator light continues to flash, which disables me from getting it into 4Lo.
i am sick and tired of dealing with this. :frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:
can someone please give me some info? i would greatly appreciate the help more than you can imagine.:help:

Sounds like accuator / solenoid issue. It's getting juice but maybe not enough to hold in check for 4x operation or maybe a stuck solenoid, I hate electrical shit haha...
