    Are you supposed to leave the step plate in the receiver hitch at all times or do you only put it in when you need to use it?

    I leave mine in all the time. I like how it looks, plus it acts as a piece of armor. Since it's made out of bent 3/16 steel, it can take a hell of a beating and gives me a little margin for error in parking lots. I dont really worry about fools hitting my bumper in the lots anymore.

    For 2nd gens, I can do those skids for 210 bare and add 60 for powdercoat. I travel a good bit so if you guys are nearby, I wouldn't mind throwing the skid in my truck to save on some shipping.
