I have a huge get togeather wensday on a local island and my only transportation for the girlfriend and myself is my jetski. Problem cranked it every other day intill January of this year then let it sit. Tried cranking it last week and it was a no go. Battery charge is 13.2 volts. cleaned the carbs with acid chem dip. Its not the starter because its turning over it just wont crank?? Its a 2002 yamaha xl700 waverunner. Im thinking the spark plugs but what else could there be?

this, starting it up and not blowing it out can cause the plugs to foul if it's not jetted properly.

pull the plugs, if they are black and wet, they're fouled. Replace them and see if she starts.

2 strokes generally like to be ran hard, I would recommend for the winter just draining all the gas out, disconnecting the battery, and storing it in a dry place. No need to start it up all the time.
