I'm wanting to do a mod with my light bar but to do it I need to find either the fuse or the relay that supplies power to the High Beams. I've look on all the fuse box covers (inside cab and under the hood) and nothing indicates Hi Beams to me; of course I could be blind or just not understanding the abbreviations.

Anyone know which fuse or relay it is?

So there's a separate fuse for each individual head light? Wow that's crazy. Thanks for the help!

So you don't loose total illumination...actually smart.

Yeah it is. Just never known a car company to have done that. Good job Toyota.

And the fuses are after the relays...unlike most other vehicles.
Battery-system fuse (120 or 140 Amp)-Head Relay-Dim Relay-branches out to Low Beam fuses (Right & Left) and High Beams (Right & Left)

Right now the LED light bar is wired directly to the battery and then to the relay and on/off switch. I'm going to add another relay and use the lead from the high beam to be the signal that closes the relay so I can activate the LED light bar with the high beam switch. When I want the high beams to operate independently, I can just turn off the existing LED light bar's on/off switch so the relay won't activate when the high beams are on.

I can't think of a reason I would ever need the LED light bar on without the high beams, so this works for me. I upgraded the low and high beams to an HID LED conversion and they're freakin' bright as the sun now.

Next mod will be to figure out how to bypass the fog light kill switch when the high beams are activated so ALL my lights are on when the high beams are activated.

Here are some quick pictures. The low beams take a few seconds to go to full brightness. Once they do they're at 6000K and match the fogs and high beams in color.

Do the hack job most everyone here has enjoyed, remove the fog relay, bend the proper leg and tie in to your favorite choice of power. I recommend adding an add-a-circuit to the fog fuse which is very close to the fog relay.

I've seen that mod before but haven't gotten as far as to track down the foglight relay, but that will probably be the route I take. Thanks for the tip, for pointing out the fuse/relay, and reminder!

Only drawback is you gotta remember to turn switch off, the fog circuit juice is always on.

Ah. I might try and find an ignition switched power lead instead then. I know my memory and I'll end up with a dead battery if I don't. Good call out.
