100%, when i left there it was good and have been good for weeks. Up until last week when it started doing it again but this time more randomly where at the beginning it was consistent. All the time, the lights would flicker with the car off and just opening the door

Okay, that may be part of the problem. A circuit can have enough conductivity to show as 'Good' on a DVOM, but still not carry current. The only accurate ways to test the capacity of a ground (or any circuit) are by voltage drop test or by using a test light (best).

The lights are switched on the ground side. So even though they're not on they still have power going to them. While removing it if you touch a ground it can short the module that controls them. Been a few reports of it happening and usually the lights don't turn off after that.

The flip side to testing a ground for an LED is how small the load is.... the amp draw is so small that a multimeter will test for resistance in the circuit with decent enough accuracy. If load testing though, I like to use a spare high beam bulb across the circuit and then check for voltage drops. Still a good idea though.

I'd love to do an LED upgrade for the interior but I'm a coward. I did a Meso Total Tail Stage 1 for the tail lights and it worked perfectly without needing resistors. I'm concerned that if I keep going with the LED swap I will reach a point where the load gets low enough that it drives the canbus system over the edge and causes issues. It may be a totally stupid, unfounded fear but I'll quit while I'm ahead and live with the OEM interior lights. :anonymous:

I ended up removing the meso map and dome lights and removed the VLED footwell lights. Install diode dynamics led bulbs in the vanity lights, dome light, map lights, and tag lights. So far (knock on wood) I have not seen any issues happening.
