I'm trying to replace the switch for my Fog Lights and have no idea on the wiring. Can someone please tell me how to wire the new harness with the old? The pics below show the current switch and the new wiring harness. I've seen related stuff posted before, but not exactly what I'm trying to do. The diagram I included is for the new switch (Mictuning).
    Thanks!3.jpg 1.jpg harness.jpg

Figure out which one is key on power. Connect that one to green. Next find the one that goes to the relay(power out when button is pushed). And connect red 1 to it. Red2 would connect to you dash illumination or switch illumination(headlights on power). And black would go to a good grounding point like dash reinforcement or similar

since each harness has exactly four wires, can't I connect the black ground wire on the new harness to the ground wire on the original?

In my mind I'm thinking that I need to connect one wire from each harness together and that should work. Would that be correct?

Working on this now. It is not a good ground. I had to go behind the kick panel for one. Also, I needed to us an add a fuse to piggy back on the tail light fuse. Im close but the switch is not working as it should. Red bottom is always on and green top is on when fog lights are off. Green turn off when lights are on. Should be the other way around with the green light...

The link is below. I wasn't able to get it to work as it was described, OFF: All red / ON: Green on and Red. I currently functions opposite, OFF: Both Green and Red ON / ON: All Red. I actually like this better. My thoughts, green is ready to go. I went through a lot of fuses though. The light and colors are nice and bright too. Another reason why when running I rather have all red glowing at night. Just be carful not to travel at 88MPH when running them.
