It's even worse in California. My wife works for AT&T and the employees use paid FMLA EXTENSIVELY. Many are chronic abusers of the system so they get their FMLA paid leave then come back and go on their vacations. My wife said an upper level management person commented that at any one time the nationwide average at AT&T was about 5-6 days per year per employee. At her call center, it was 35 days per year per employee. There are many who never go out on FMLA but the ones who do push the average up tremendously. Unless the company can prove abuse (catch them doing something outside the workplace), there's nothing they can do about it. The employees make around $70K-$80K per year so it's a huge drain on the center.

MS is a very hard thing to have to deal with, my dad(which passed away in 2007 from it) dealt with the same thing with his work right before he passed away.

MS is a very close thing to my heart and i alway help out when ever i can to support an event that contributes to MS

Taco Titan, I was wondering if you found out the answers to the following:

It's very important and can make a huge difference. Things can go much more faster.

Do you know if she did?
