need help identifying

    Located on the driver's side valve cover. Have a oil leak and I'm sure there is some type of oring. Seeing if anyone knows exactly what part this is .

    Found it, vvt sensor or camshaft sensor. Mine works just the oring is bad. Gonna just try to replace oring and or if not AutoZone for a complete new one $68

    Did you try tightening the bolt?
    If not, clean the area then give it a try.

    If you plan on replacing the vvt valve or cam sensor. DO NOT REPLACE THIS SENSOR WITH A AFTERMARKET JUNK SENSOR. You will regret it, get a toyota sensor. This looks like a cam sensor not A vvt solenoid. At my shop we only replace sensors with O.EM. Saves a lot of headaches !!!
