    Hello Tacoma world,
    I have a '01 TRD OffRoad 4x4.
Recently started making a very loud hum while in drive and stopped At stop lights and such. Once start moving it seems to go away. Can't seem to figure out what it is. Wondering if anyone had any ideas on what it could be. Thanks!!

Defrost mirrors, compass/temp display rear view mirror, rear wiper on camper shell, trans.cooler.
Where do you notice the noise from? Front end? Back end?

Could be a heat shield, dashboard plastic, exhaust pipe rubbing, belt tension pulley, water pump.Alternator or A/C.
Since the drive-line is stationary when stopped, that can be ruled out.
