NEED HELP !! Low idle at start

most of the time lately when I start my truck it wants to die. When I give it gas it revs up then idles fine. It doesn't always happen when it's cold but mostly, sometimes I can turn it off then back on and it will idle so low it wants to die and sometimes does. A few times it took a while to turn over. I've had this problem on another vehicle with a dirty air filter but this truck has a new/clean air filter and a new fuel filter. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

When was your last engine tune up ?
Have you cleaned your throttle body ?
Any check engine lights popping up

 

Truck was recently tuned up. New wires, plugs, air filter, fuel filter but haven't cleaned the throttle body, no check engine light on

 

I just started having this issue as well, sprayed out the throttle body and cleaned the mass air flow sensor. No longer dying when I try to start it up after its been running a while (I.E up to operating temperatures). However, its still will go way to low in the RPM's and stay there unless i give it some juice. Would the air flow sensor take some time to adjust to being clean again? I guess plugs wires and a new fuel filter are next.

 

I cleaned the airflow sensor and it still would idle low at start. After about 3-4 days, it started running fine at starts. A couple days after that it happened again, low idle start. Then the next time I started it, idle was fine... For the most part it is starting fine now. But every now and then 1 out of 10 starts it will idle low unless I give it gas ?? I don't know. Maybe I should replace it

are you removing the battery posts after cleaning ?
This will give the computer in your truck a fresh start . Rite now the computer ìn your truck still thinks the throttle body is dirty .
Make sure your battery voltage is sufficient for running a fuel injected engine

 

Did not know that! ill do that before I do anything else!
