I got an off of $38,500 before $1,000 rebate on a 2019 OFF Road with premium and tech. no other extras.
I'm not familiar with the negotiating process or what one should realistically expect to pat
for on a truck like this.
What is a reasonable counter offer? no jokes please, I really need some help! :0

    thank you!

Go to truecar.com to see what they're selling for in your area.

    None... yet
I got my sport with tech, mats, running boards, but no premium for 34k with incentive. I’d think they’d come down more than that for sure but I’m not sure what to tell you to pay.

slow your roll and reach out to 50 dealers with the exact build you want. some will be good, some will suck.

I'd shop around until you can get
That's what I did, it worked out very well.

Just be careful, they'll may try to get you somehow. Either on the financing or the trade, they often try to squeeze all your money!

Shop 3 dealers in your area and go with the best price. Numbers from the internet in a different part of the country mean nothing.

And once as you figure out what other people are paying, you can just spam dealers via email to not waste time. Use a throwaway email though.

You need to post more details, otherwise your 38.5k is just an arbitrary number. What is the full list of options...dealer fees...etc. What is the msrp? We need to know what you are working your way down from to get a better gauge on your current offer.

Not sure of your color. This is before negotiating. Looks similar to your options. This has leather and sunroof as well.

It has leather and moon roof and floor mats, no other extras. Msrp was around $41500 I believe. dealer fees are $229 and there is a $1000 rebate that so it would actually be $37,500. thanks

Use Kenlyns advice. It is in your best interest to have dealerships compete for your business. Figure out how far you are willing to drive and call mulitiple dealerships with your current offer. Make sure that the price is "out the door"

Once you get past the negotiations. Watch out for the Toyota care. They may tell you it’s free but put that cost in somewhere else in the numbers.

This is not clear. What is the sticker price after all added options? This is the price you should start negotiating from. How much the dealer will come off the price depends on many things...how close to end of the month, how long has car been on lot, how "unique" is the car, how close to introduction of 2020 model, etc. Generally, you can expect about a 10% off sticker...and any rebates, incentives, etc. will be part of that 10%.

got rid of chrome, that's about it. (i work in it so cant mod it too much)
ill give you a tip, don't be afraid to get up mid negotiating and walk out if they aren't willing to work with you.

I've done this several times when buying a vehicle. remember you dont have to give your business to that dealer and don't be afraid to drive to save some money.
