I found a great deal on the revtek lift. The 3in one for an 05 toyota tacoma. This guy is selling one for 250, and only had it for 3 months then upgraded to 6in lift. So he is sellin the revtek and it comes with everything to properly lift the truck.

My question is to the people with revtek lift how do u like them. Is it worth spending the 250 to get it? How is the ride, and i would love to see some pics of the difference in height of the ride!!!! He already has it off the truck and ready for sale. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Wow. I am tired. Misread the topic. I would say go for it. Just have to buy new shocks and is this for a 4x4 or a prerunner?

Yeah but i did research and for a brand new toytec is the same price as the revtek that i would be getting isn't it? Both at 250 and the revtek is basically new b/c its only 3 months old.

haha. yeah i replied back and then u rewrote what u had said! haha. I have a prerunner, with the locking rear end. I plan on wheeling eventually nothing to extreme. but i will. What kind of shocks, i hear 5100's are the best or what everyone else keeps putting on there truck.

I plan on wheeling, but nothing to crazy. I have a fourwheeler, yfz450. Some of the places we go has a little mud and some space to play around, but nothing to stupid where i would mess up the truck or anything.

Yeah i have that money to buy the lift and i haven't decided yet to do it myself or have a place do it. I would have to get a realignment of course! but what do u mean "for additional cost"?

I think he's referring to needing new shocks like RedTaco said.

Right on. How big is the revtek lift? 3''? If you can swing it i would definitly not go with a spacer lift just because the ride is terrible. It is on my 1st gen anyway. Billy 5100s all around or an OME setup arent that expensive and give a way better ride and are certainly more practical if you do decide to offroad a bit. To be perfectly honest i hate my spacerlift thats why i ordered coilovers. YFZs are nice bikes, what year is it? I got a 07 TRX450r.

oh i see where it says 3'' now, must have missed it before. anyway going upwards of 3'' of lift you may run the risk of having alignment issues.ya may not though. some have no alignment issues at all.

I would 5100"s and an aal. I hear nothing but bad things about spacer lifts.

Thanks and yeah i see were u answered ur own ?. Yeah i am not sure if it has the spacer lift or not, i mean i could possibly do it either way i just saw that it was a really good deal, b/c on there website it says brand new is 375 for either setup they have. Hopefully i won't have any issues. Yeah i dont think i have that kind of money for coilovers just yet though. Yeah i love it, the thing is a beast, i bought it back in 06 but it was an 05 model, i got it used. I use to live in ky and rode a hell of a lot and that thing is awsome in the woods! The trx is awsome! has more torque than the yfz but with those bikes they are so powerful doesn't even matter!!! Couple friends have those though.

With the 5100's all the way around and aal would i still be able to do 285's? i would eventually want to get 18's and 285's. I know u can adjust the 5100's to 4 different levels but i don't want have to pay anymore than i truly have to! I want it right but for a decent price.

Yeah, I'm running 285's but I rub on the cab mount. At full lock. That is after I trimed and removed my front mud flaps.

I had the revtek spacer kit and the ride quality went way down. A friend of mine also had the revtek and everytime u go over a speed bump or so it hits hard. If you offroad then i would say no but if you dont it would hurt

So do u think the toytek 3in lift is better, i know it would be about 50 dollars more. This is the link for the one i am considering from them. Any information would be great. I know the toytec would give me new coilovers up front but they also say it has the 3in spacer and the aal in the rear. So idk if thats truly what i want b/c if its spacer in the front its still going to have the same feel driving.

Here is another link though, to toytec. My question for this setup is would i have to do anything else to the truck to run the lift? i know from getting just this kit i would have to get a 1.5" aal. But with the front end would i need to change anything or get something else different? This i know has better up front coilovers and has the bllstein 5100's.

ok, you get what you pay for...... the revtek is a block-spacer lift, i am not a big fan of these, if i was going to get a 3'' lift on the truck i would go with the toytec ultimate lift kit its a 3'' lift and does everything the right way at high quality. this is the lift that i got and i love it....... spend the money and do it right.... just my .02

I was just trying to get everyones .02 b/c i saw a good deal on this revtek lift and just wanted to know if i should get it before its gone or just wait and save the money. From what everyone is sayin i think i should wait and save the money and do it really right before i do something. Thanks for ur .02.
