Had my 2007 Tacoma raised up and after having it done the shaking on the steering started. Took it back to where I had it done and they did an alignment and balance but shaking on the steering still there. Also after checking the wheel myself I found out that the nut on the wheels was not going all the way through because the bolt was too short. Also, when I turn the steering wheel to the right the tire rubs against the steering column. I need advice on how to fix the problem. Thanks

I assume by having your truck raised, you mean a lift. Take it back to where you had the lift done, and have them inspect and and repair. Don't quite know what you mean here? l

Sounds dangerous with the lug nuts not going on correctly.

Call the shop that did the lift and have them tow it. I would not want things coming apart while driving...

It could be a simple balance issue, but with the nuts not going all the way on why chance it. Sum ting Wong.

Agree with both of the above posts .
Those rims look aftermarket . Look into hub centric rings with lug centric wheels
Ask about the Haweka adapter too .

Did you put spacers on? Did you not put extended bolts in? Maybe wrong spacers(some are hub centric some are not.) maybe the wheels are a larger or shorter offset. And you need spacers. Did you have the wheels and tires on before this happened. Can you get a pic of where the wheel is contacting the rack? That's pretty crazy.

"...Also after checking the wheel myself I found out that the nut on the wheels was not going all the way through because the bolt was too short."
I would think it's the other way around - the shank-style nut will not go all the way through if the bolt was too long. Maybe you mean the lug bolt does not go all the way through?

"...the tire rubs against the steering column." The steering column is about two feet inward from the nearest wheel. Maybe, you mean the sway bar? Or, steering knunckle?

As others asked, did you also put new wheels/tires? A lift will generally have nothing to do with longer/shorter wheel nuts/bolts.
