Hey guys I'm replacing passenger side cv and it won't pop back in. All the videos online don't show them actually putting it back in. Can someone help?

We had a pain in the butt tying to get my drivers side in when we did the ECGS bushing. Took a lot of patience but it finally seated and we tapped it in with a punch and hammer to get it to fully seat.

Did you hit on those notches on the inner part of the cv?

Just pulled this pic off google, but see that dimple on the very outside of the CV before the threads? Just stick a punch in there and give it some taps with a mallet. It works well if you can tap it and have another set of hands sort of rotating it and pushing it in

Make sure the snap ring is facing down, and wiggle/ twist it a bit, and then wack it with a 3-6lbs dead blow, don't worry you won't hurt it.
