Most head units are dirty at high levels. I can only think of a few that are clean all the way to 11.

Based on experience, 99% of factory head units clip at less than full volume.

The only aftermarket head units I know USUALLY are clean all the way up are Kenwood, though I have friends that have commented Pioneer and Alpine are fairly reliable.

The only way to know 100% is some method of checking for clipping in the waveform. Otherwise, it’s just a guess.
