Ok, I'd like some advice also. I'm looking to add nerfs or running boards to my Tacoma also. I like the look of the NFabs, but with my rear bumper chrome and black, and my front grille chrome with black insert, I'd kinda like to go with that scheme and get the steps in chrome & black. There are so many brands to choose from, who makes the best alternative to the NFabs? They will be used as steps, not rock rails in my application. Thanks

I looked at those options also. Ended up with bolt on sliders from Avid Offroad. Couldn't be happier. My .02.

I didn't think that all of them were wide enough to be used as steps
