I have an 07 Tacoma (axle code A04C). I am getting a binding noise when turning recently. Today I put it in four wheel drive and all thing bad happen. I cannot turn hardly at all. The rear inside wheel locks up and slips. Its like the spider in the rear end is going out.

This truck is not equiped with a locker though. So what is going on and why does this issue occur with the rear end when in four wheel drive but not in two?

What do I need to do?

    Thanks.

    How many miles?

Have you recently replaced the diff fluid? Or have you never replaced it?
