hi everyone! I lifted/leveled my truck 3"/1", and installed 285/70/17 tires on. Took it to align within the spec. What happen is that my bottom front tires tilted in ( positive camber ). Between my research and the dealer suggestion , looks like I need to replace UCAs, what do you all think? I've been looking for ones, should I need a adjustable ones? Is there good brand out there beside TOTAL CHAO? They're almost $800 . If I change the UCAs , I'm not sure if it solve the issue. I'm still learning about cars ( not sure what's the real function of UCA, all suggestions will help.THANKS

Yes you will need aftermarket UCAs. In the mean time you/the alignment shop should adjust to as close to 0 as possible for camber. With a 3” lift they will probably not be able to get 0 with stock UCAs.

    Some good brands of UCAs:
    Total chaos
    Light racing
    Jba
    Camburg

There are 3 different kind of jba uca and they all fit my 2015 taco, is STD high caster the better one? Do I need to replace the suspension or anything like that beside uca?

    How is the 3" accomplished?

If you adjust it down to 2", maybe 2.5", you likely won't need the UCAs to achieve a good alignment.

You don't need UCAs. UCAs help achieve higher caster. You can easily get low camber on stock UCAs.

@EatSleepTacos has a good point. How much positive camber are we talking about? Do you have a printout?

Factory alignmnet specs actually call for some positive camber. I didn't like it and I found a indy alignmnet shop that went with their own specs/a little negative. Most of my driving is hwy and it works better for what I'm doing

If you are going to buy them might as well get the adjustable ones.

@EatSleepTacos , I had it aligned twice at 2 different places , they came out the same, and that's what a lot of people on taco world and the dealer suggested. What is ur 2 cents to fix it?

Well it depends largely on where you take it. If you take it to a place like firestone, you're going to get a shit alignment. It's hard, but you want to find a shop who knows what they're doing and will take the time to adjust and tweak it to get decent numbers.

The numbers you're shooting for are 0 toe/camber and as much caster as they can get.
