Alot of chain stores and the dealer are handcuffed to the factory alignment specs due to liability. Find an independant shop where they can think outside the box when it comes to setting the alignment. They should be asking you what kind of driving you will be doing, what kind of tires you plan on running, passenger/load weight, etc

I am happy with my camburg uca's and if I remember correctly they use Mooge joints that can be had at my local Oreily's.

They said they can only adjust so much with stock UCAs after lifted. With my little knowledge abt these I'm lost here lol. My concern is that I'm just gonna keep aligning so many times to the point where I can use the money to buy aftermarket UCAs .

The stock UCAs aren’t adjustable at all. The lower control arms are where the magic happens.

    ^^^^^^^^^what he said

But if you want aftermarket UCAs, get JBA. Inexpensive, effective, and a quality product.

On a 3" lift at zero camber you're going to get like 1 degree of caster. And your tires will probably rub on the cab mount. That's the trade off.

No I meant they said they can only go so far on pos/neg on camber with stock uca after lift ( may be that's why they can't get to 0. So now I'm thinking if the aftermarket uca provide more caster ( to positive) then that means more room to 0/neg on camber right?

Aftermarket will get you more caster, but not at the expense of camber like the stock setup.

You can get 0 camber and 3 or 4 degrees caster at the same time because adjustments are made on the top and bottom.

On the stock arms you give up caster for camber and vice versa.

They’re not adjustable, and no you don’t need adjustable. They have extra caster built into them. That’s what I’m running.

Also, the higher you go, the less adjustment you get. If you want to fit 285's and have zero camber you're caster will be Low and the tire will be situated in the back of the wheel well and rub.

IMO, adjustable ucas are only needed in extreme cases. Most/all aftermarket ucas have some caster correction built in and all the adjustment youll need is down at the bottom arm

They didn't even try to improve it. I find it hard to believe that there was no room for improvement. Post pics of your alignment cams.

I have a 3" lift and when i had stock UCAs the truck was squirrely on the highway....went with Camburgs which allowed for factory spec alignment and all is well ... I would say go with a reputable brand and not go cheap, unless you don't value your own safety.

There's no pic of the alignment cams. I'm talking about the lower control arm eccentric cams, so we can see if the front ones are all the way in, or all the way out and same with the rear control arm cams.
