remgu200 I am having the same problem. I am confused. Did you pull the top of the door panel to get to the cables or the actual handle?

 

This thread just saved my ass! Thank you! The door handle pull truck didn’t work for me. I had to pull the top of the panel off, it bent a little but I was able to get it to go back to form. Be careful with these back doors!!

 

It was getting dark on me and put my door back together after upgrading the speaker, closed it and immediately knew I f**ked up. Your post saved my ass from taking it to my dealer. After installing the puddle pods, 2 kicker tweeters, 2 front kicker speakers and the right rear (the one I screwed up on), calling it a day after this. Thanks for your help!

If you could get it open my thought, was you might have cut into your door cover(kinda destroying) the cover...glad to see , you got it open

In old Datsun trucks and cars ...lift the handle , stick a screw driver in open slot..and pops open..no keys..
