Installing my just arrived WO covers and really need to remove the back half of the center console; In order to get the plastic cover off the sealt belt latch so I can route the strap up and over the seat frame. With the console out it will be much easier

09 TRD AC MAN TRANS; I have the cup holder panel off and the rear panel off and the two screws at the top front where the front and rear sections join. I can see that the back half needs to come up and back to release the 2 pins on each side at the joint BUT THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE I CAN NOT FIGURE OUT that is holding it.

    A little help please . . .

    Lots baby!
Pull up the carpet in the bottom of the console. It is not glued down. There are two bolts under there.

Once they are removed. The console easily pulls rearward.

    Thanks COUPE.

I had pulled at it several times and it appeared to be glued down, but I know that had to be it ,finally got ahold of the fuzz and just thru caution to the winds; I was being to gentle
