I have read through so many panel remover threads that have been very helpful. I just can't figure out how to get the airbag panel cover beneath the glove box door off. I am chasing a rattle above or behind my glove box and need to pull the glove box. But I don't think I can until I get that panel off. I have disconnected the battery and told 90% of the glove box free. But there is a screw under that panel that I need access to. Does anybody know how to get the panel off? Sorry if I missed a previous explanation and I might be overlooking the obvious. But I'm stuck at the moment until I can get that panel off. THANKS!

Have you tried opening the glove box take out the divider and remove back panel to access cabin air filter to look at the fan and impeller?

Removing airbags is a no no in my book..... Try hitting it through the cabin air filter...

Maybe I'll give that a try. Sounds like maybe I should be more cautious of the airbag panel.

You have to remove a few bolts underneath, and one hidden behind the side panel on the door side, and the panel by the passenger’s right foot. You can see the bolts clear as day with a flashlight. It’s at a very odd angle and you’ll need an extension to get the bolt out. Then it’s clipped into the panel above it, so pull it straight back to clear the clips, then it’s removed.

No worries in removing the airbag, just leave the wire connected. There’s enough of a service loop to set it on the floor once it’s unbolted and it’s still connected. Also reinstalling it, there’s like alignment tabs so you can’t mess it up.

After you remove those airbag bolts. The airbag panel is held in place by couple of tabs along the top. Stick a plastic pry tool and flex the panel down. You will be able to see those tabs between the upper air bag and lower portion of the glove box.

To the far left of the airbag there's a small. Plastic. Panel. That panel needs to come off to get to airbag bolts

I took it to the dealer. Thanks for following up. Got a little spooked about getting over my head with the airbag. Thanks.

May could try going over light scratches with heat gun just keep it moving. Usually light scratches will disappear. As the plastic starts to shine. Just be VERY CAREFUL not to to touch until cools back off bc can leave fingerprint in plastic and burn you. Keep heat gon moving don't stay in one spot. Worked pretty good for me
