Need help removing plastic on Tacoma

Hey,

I have a 2017 Limited Tacoma. There's this black plastic piece on the bottom near the rear wheels. Not sure what it's called. Trying to remove to get rid of clear plastic vinyl rock guard.

There's no screws or clips to hold it on. Anyone know how to remove this?

Heat gun and peel it off. Pretty sure it's just glued on.
