Working on installing my toytec lift and we are not sure how to get that really long bolt off/past the frame. Front Drivers side. IF there is a thread please direct me to it. TIA

Cut it and replace it. Replacement bolts are less than 20. You put the replacement in the opposite direction.

Im a 2nd gen but should be same. I had to bend the sheetmetal a bit and removed the battery. Its a pain but doable

Also when I reinstalled it the other direction I removed the bolt holding the brake lines or fuel lines and it made it easier

I think we just bent the metal. I think it’s what instructions say if you have them at least for TC. Didn’t have to remove the battery. If you bend enough you can get it out.

I used channel locks to bend the metal a bit and then once you get past that there's a small electrical connector or something that's a bit of a bitch to reach but I didn't have to pull the battery.

When I watched the Ironman 4x4 install video they show the need to bend some metal to get the bolt in and out and then just rebend the body metal back into place.

Like said above, bent all the metal out of the way. Pretty lame that I had to do it, but oh well. Re-painted the area I bent since paint/undercoating chipped off everywhere.

We got the long bolts but getting them back on is a real challenge. Any suggestions? It’s really tight in that space.

We were able to hammer them back in after removing the grill.
