Maybe a body shop could put it on so it matches the lines of the windows better than Toyota could?

    :notsure:

On a side unrelated note I love the topper. I look every day for hours around for one.

It’s been great. I went with Century, which is a little more affordable but has been rock solid for two years.

I think the biggest turn off for me was literally the fact that is was vinyl. Why didn’t they just paint it? I just assumed down the road it would fade and be a bigger pain to get off... the more I say why I took it off the less I wanna put it on. It just looks so good with dark tint when the vinyl is there.

I’m with you. I’m 50/50. I think the idea of the vinyl is good, but Toyota poorly executed it. It should have a defined edge or frame. Not just matte black duct tape slapped on between the windows like they did.

    Looks like an afterthought.

After looking at your truck, I may take mine off when it warms up. I really like it.
Side note. Why are you at a ladies apparel shop? Gifting?

Leave it off. Move on. It looks better without it.

    You ARE overthinking it.

    Let's talk about lift kits..................

It’s a small area and would be a fun learning experience, I just did the center of my hood, by myself and had never done anything with vinyl before. I’d say give it a try.
