Just a thought, maybe see if someone is willing to swap red tinted lights for your clears. I have a 2020 Barcelona Red, and I like the clear lens lights on red vehicles. I always felt that since the reds were off that the separation that the chrome/black helps break up the rear of the truck.

If you ever come down to socal, I can do some type of a trade with my clear ones off the 2020 Off Road.

Anything aftermarket like that usually is crap quality OP and looks cheesy aftermarket. I’d swap to a 16-19 set. But coming from several prior turd gens I actually like my chrome 20s on my cement, but everyone is different.

All of the Chinese/Taiwan aftermarket taillights are junk in my opinion. I’m not placing my safety in jeopardy with a low quality off-shore tail light. As an owner I can highly suggest the MESO Customs Stage 1 LED tail light kit instead.

It uses the existing housing, it's just some electronics bits and LED bulbs to change which lights light up for tails/brakes/turns.

Meso relocates the turn signal to where the factory should have placed them. I have them, two thumbs up!

My own is different from the Total Tail Lights.
These are Meso's Ultimate LED Retrofit Tail Lights.
The entire "C" is an LED board.
These are Red lens, but the internals are blacked out, so give a strong contrast between the LED strips and the housing.
The turn and reverse are in the white bucket, and are basically the same ones from the Total Tails S2.

They ain't cheap, but the quality and craftmanship is there.
    Well worth the coin.

I thought about changing out my clear/chrome 2020 tail lights as well, even tried to apply smoke vinyl on top of it, but it was very difficult due to a couple of bulges and angles, so I gave up. I started looking at some of the eBay LED tail lights, they don't look half-bad, but not sure if they work with 2020 model. Like this one that says for 2016, 2017, 2018, so unsure. https://tinyurl.com/rrks8u2

Has anyone tried to install these eBay LED tail lights on the 2020 models?

The wiring for the 2020s should be the same.
I know a lot of 2020s swap out theirs for the 2018-2019 tail lights.

I saw a ton of reviews on Amazon- 50/50 some happy and some very disappointed. I was considering those for a while .

With hearing everyone out - and for my taste I always liked 16-19 red lens and the knock off pro with black looks good . I went ahead and ordered the TRD pro knock off’s -on offer up. Should look much better - well to my liking. I already have LED’s installed along with resistors .

the stock clear / chrome tail lights remind me of the old Euor’s . Never been a fan.

I will say this- Honda did something right on the ridge line. Probably only thing, the tail lights are full LED’s and look pretty clean as I was behind one last night. Wish Toyota would catch up. Yet, I so love my LED headlights.

Tacoma went 100% LED’s for the headlights for 2020. Will LED tails become a reality for 2021?

Toyota finally gets rid of chrome on the 2020 trd grills. But then you find out they just moved it to the taillights

    :annoyed:

I'm guessing you don't have MESO LEDs. Just a heads up. His kit also comes with plug and play wiring harnesses that change the way your lights work on the back that look wayyy better. Not just brighter bulbs.
