I think it is, but hope its easier than, my rear main seal. I also think my driver side valve gasket is leaking a little. I am really worried about the leak at my transmission though. I just happened to notice it last night at the gas station after driving 8 hours but can someone give any insight? and if it is the rear main seal is there a part no. or anyone know of a write up/diy for this, I havent found much and dont really have $800-1000 to spend.

And just to add, 4 days ago I swapped my driver cv seal with a friend and it wasn't leaking like this. The valve cover gasket I believe was there but the black oil puddles were not

Could be valve cover gasket or cam seal leaking down but my guess would be the rear main seal.

Just noticed the oil trail on top of the bell housing running down so i doubt if it's a rear main seal.

I met with a friend who worked for Toyota/Lexus and he said it's most likely the valve cover seal dripping down the back and around the bell housing but also a rear main seal as there's a good leak where the transmission meets the engine. His recommendation short term (since it's such a big job) is to keep the oil levels good and just ride it out until I have the money for the job or the clutch starts to feel like its failing. And longterm since we would be that far in, might as well get a clutch and whatnot along with the seal.

So what are some good clutches to look into? I'll check the forums to see what people say but any recommendations are always welcome.

yep, if the rear seal is leaking your clutch will be oil soaked by it so that's definitely got to be replaced while its apart

Marlin Crawler has a good heavy duty kit. Or a Aisin oem kit, i got my Aisin clutch kit from Rockauto. Replace the shifter bushing also while you have it apart. Marlin Crawler also sells the bushing or your local toyota dealer.
