So I’ve had my Tacoma for about 1 year and I’m only 17. Recently I’ve been getting into doing some work on it and I need help figuring out what wheels to get for it. It is stock height right now with 265/70/17 on it. The problem is the rims aren’t the right ones(bought it like this when I had no knowledge on vehicles). It has some spidertrax spacers on it but the wheels tend to rub occasionally and the tread is wearing out a lot towards the outside. Also the lugs don’t go on all the way on the studs. I plan on getting new tires but I thought I might as well get some new rims but I don’t know what to get that will fit properly with the right lug nuts that won’t rub. Here’s a picture for the reference. Also I’ve tried to put the wheels on without the spacer but it leaves barely any room between the wheel itself and the upper control arm which was a no go.

When you say the lug nuts wont go all the way on, does that mean the wheels are loose on the spidertrax spacers? Or is that happening when you try to mount the wheels without the spacers?

Uneven tire wear is likely the front end alignment. Have you done a wheel alignment?

As for the rubbing, what are the specs for those wheels? Rim size, rim width, backspacing and offset?

Wheels don't look too bad but they do look kinda weak, and with rediculous offset (hence the spacers). Also concerned about the lugs comment
