So my girlfriend's corolla is crapping out on her. This morning she went to drive it to work but when she was halfway down the street the car stopped accelerating. She idled back home. What would cause the car to idle fine but not be able to accelerate? I was thinking it had to be something with the throttle system but I don't really have any idea what I'm talking about. Having the car towed to the stealership but want to make sure I'm somewhat knowledgeable about what may be happening. Thanks.
