    Hey whats up,

I was thinking of converting to a solid axle instead of IFS but I'm still kind of stuck of how to go about using my automatic tranny.... Is it even possible to still use the automatic tranny? If not, are all 1St Gen Tacoma 5speed transmissions compatible? someone help me out of this little predicament.

    SAS.. Need I say more.
Any of the taco transmissions (auto/manual) works...

SAS is nothing to joke with. It takes ALOT ALOT ALOT!!!!!!! of research and time. I spent 4 weeks 8 hours a day reading about SAS and I still don't know even half of some people. It is not cheap at all. $6k-$10k. Even prices of up to $30k if you really want to become hardcore.

    My 2cents..

    Adjustable coil overs..
    Front air locker...
    35's
    Cut the firewall
    Fulls skids..

    Price... $2.5-4k.

You can almost compete with SA if you know how to wheel.
