NEED HELP WITH ADUSTING OEM RUNNING BOARDS!

    08 DC SB SR5 TRD OFF ROAD
    No damage to that area since I owned it ( I bought it in May) but there must have been damage before, because the old bracket, with the previous running board, had massive damage to it, like he drove over a rock or something, but the area where the bracket bolts to the cab was undamaged.

    But maybe there was enough twist to that area, to the unseen eye, which caused this issue? I don't know.

    If it pushed in the body (where the running board bracket bolted to) enough to require a few washers then I think you found your answer...
