    Ok so need help!!

I did my install and got everything working but camera ring light would always stay on, I know its because i installed the power wire from the camera to my blue seas fuse block which is hooked up to the battery.

So then i took the power wire and i tapped it to the red wire coming from the switch thinking it would only come on when I turn on the switch.

After that the switch stopped illuminating, it use to stay on all the time, well when the car was on

Here is how I have my connections:
The black and grey wire from the switch AND the black wire from the relay are all connected together and grounded to the bolt behind the radio.
The red wire and the orange wire and the blue from the switch are connected to the red and orange wire to the braided line on the 28 pin connector that has the red and orange wire. The red and blue wire are connected together to the red wire on the braided line.
The Green wire from the switch is connected to the green wire on the relay

ever since I tried to tap the power wire from the camera to the red wire on the switch, the switch no longer gets power.

I spoke to the people at anytime back up camera and he told me to connect the red wire from the camera to the green wire on the switch so the camera only comes on when i turn the switch, but i did my connections before he replied and now im not getting any power.

Any ideas on what i should check or why my switch isnt getting any power?

I ordered the same kit a few months back and same thing happened to me. I then hooked up the power wire from the camera to the switch and problem solved. This is a great mod that I use all the time.

OP here is a great instructional for front anytime https://youtu.be/DDiNGNWvPTM
They do a really good job of laying out everything. I followed this mostly to a T and had no issues other than my own OCD for wiring and making things look clean and factory.

Throw that camera in the trash where it belongs and buy the $40 Natika on Amazon.

I just installed the anytime backup camera kit and this video was really helpful.

Camera power, and in your case the ring light power as well, should connect to the green wire from the relay. This gives power to the camera and light only when the relay is energized.
