I just installed my lift and I had gotten the diff drop kit too. The instruction I have are really dark and we are having a hard Time figuring out where the 1" spacer goes. Also the kit only came with 3 skid plate spacers and there are 4 mounting locations.

I think the photo for the instructions were on a gen 2. Can someone that has the diff drop installed take some photos for me with some reference points. And also if you got 3 or 4 skid plate spacers. Thanks

You really don't need it, but if you must. The front diff has two brackets attached to it that run further forward and attach to the crossmember. Undo those big bolts and pull em out. Pry down those brackets just enough to squeeze the spacers in between, then put new bolts and nuts in. Refer to whatever torque spec you were given. As for the skid plate spacers, if you in fact do need the fourth one, which I think you may really only need two, use some washers.
