need help with driveshft angle

    gonna lift my truck about .5 inch more, I have the arb El096R right now and have a carrier drop kit, so would I need to get shims if I lift it .5

    Did you mean 1/2” lift, what would be the point?

    Well a 1/2” lift gets you nothing, from a performance standpoint, is why I asked. I would at 2” you’ll want shims to correct driveshaft angles and usually anything above that also the drop kit to help with the cv angles. If you only 1/2” none of those will be issues.

    my bad I have a 2wd non 4wd idk if thatll make a difference and the reason for it is to slighty get rid of the rear sag

    If you went 3”front 2”rear, adding the 1/2” spacer in the rear . You should be ok.
