Need help with lift kit

I'm new to the lift world and just need some help please. I have an idea of what I want already as far as tires and rims but I need help with the lift. I only want a 3" suspension lift and I would like to put 33's (Nitto Mud Grapplers) with 20 inch rims (KMC XD Series). I saw someone with this same setup and they had a 3" pro comp suspension lift kit. That's all I know about what was on there. Not sure if the truck needs spacers or what. Any advice would greatly be appreciated before I go buy anything.
