I am trying to wire what seems to be the same switch but the switch that came with my lights has only 2 wires. How would I wire this switch to my harness?

Switch that came with my lights

    1. Power in
    2. Power out
    3. Attach to power from dash light circuit
    4. Ground

Your 2 wires are power in and power out. I would assume red is power in and black is power out, but it doesn't really matter. If you wire it backwards the switch will work backwards.

I believe I will need to extend the wire on the fuse to run all the way from my battery to my center console to install the switch.

Any suggestions on which wire to buy?
Is there an easy way to know what guage to buy?
Does anyone have a suggestion on the easiest way to tap into the dash lights if I'm installing a switch in the center below?
