Sorry for the silly question, but I sold my OEM side step bars and forgot to measure the mounting bolts. Now the holes are exposed. I
looked at another Tacoma on the street and saw there was some plastic inserts with a groove for a flat head screwdriver in place. I have contacted three dealer parts departments and none of them can seem to locate a part number. Before I go buy a bunch of guess work screw-in inserts or push in plugs can anyone help send some light on a part number or share an example of what they are using to fill these holes. I want to keep the moisture/dirt out. Thanks for helping.

I've bought various size plugs at Lowes in the hardware isle. They have lots of drawers full of small hardware items nobody sees unless you pull the drawer out. Good luck.

Wrap the bolts with a little Teflon tape to keep out moisture/rust.

Good tip! I'll ordered some the plastic inserts for $10. But now I'm thinking the bolt Teflon method is a much better solution. Thanks again! You da man!

That’s why when I sold my side-steps I kept the bolts.
