I never had a lifted car and I bought a Tacoma which I suspect is lifted from 4 to 6 inches with Pro Comp.

The ride quality is terrible, very rigid.

I took an 80 miles ride on pavement and I felt like need kidney surgery after that.

the question is what shocks do you recommend for improving the ride quality.

    So far What I know:

    Tires 35x12.50x20
and a big piece that says pro comp which seems to be a differential drop.

On the top of the strut has a 4.5 inches mount and also has a body lift of 4.5.

These are the pictures I got from the suspension when I bought the car, if somebody can help me to determine what is the best way to improve ride quality.

Remove the lift and spacers. Bam, ride quality is back.

No undoing that lift. Unless your ready to weld back in the parts that got cut out at install.

Cheap and quickest; lower the tire pressure.

Is call procomp and ask if they’re getting any lift out of the coilover and how much and overall length. You then could replace with a like coilover or even see if they have different option. But you’ll never have a cushy ride on 35s it just nature of the beast. If you wanna spend some coin you could find out what kings or other highend coilover that are adjustable could work.

Not to sidetrack the post from your suspension issues too far, but are front disc calipers working?

Yes, those pictures were taken the first time I saw the car, I had 2 years on the stands because the previous owner ruins the front clip against a fence, and here in Panama is very expensive to fix that car if you're not familiar with buying from the USA.
