Well I had a "learn the hard way" experience with my current wheels. I got some Pro Comp 1079 wheels and liked them for a long time the way they were. But I wanted some black wheels so i decided to paint them. I sanded, primed, used wheel paint, and clear coated, but as I should have known the paint wasn't gonna stick to the aluminum. I got new tires and the garage beat the $#!% out of the wheels while installing the tires so my wheels are horribly chipped and I can't wash them without turning the rag completely black or chipping them even more. Anyways, I'm looking for a new set of wheels $250 and under, black. Any suggestions? I'm looking at these from Summit Racing but I don't know about the blue and red ring.

get the wheels powder coated. i'm sure this will cost less than buying new wheels.

My dad has some TRD offroad wheels laying around. He said he would sell them to me. I was thinking something like this
