How do I send money to someone when buying a product to insure I get it?

 

just enter the person phone number or email address. not exactly sure what you are asking?

Ive only gifted money on here. But im making a big purchase hopefully today. But I don't want to get screwed because it is alot of money to me. I'm sorry I know this is stupid but I really can't find the answer.

Have the seller send you an invoice for "purchased goods". Gifted money is not covered under paypal claims, so never do that for a stranger. Before sending your money, ask him if he will provide a tracking number when he ships the goods. If not, be kind of curious why. Tracking is provided for every shipment these days, it's not that hard to give to the buyer.
