I had a little tap into my passenger side rear bumper cap (photos are attached). Anyone think this is repairable or will i need to replace the entire bumper cap?

    thank you

Looks like it should be pretty easy to pop back out and polish, not sure if those scratches are just surface level, or if they actually cut into the paint.

you'll likely always have some creases alluding to the damage though, if that's something that will bug you.

Scratches felt like the clear coat to me.

If it were me, I'd definitely try popping the dent back out and polishing/buffing the scratched up area. I'm not too nitpicky so that would be enough for me.

Or in true TW fashion, take this as an opportunity to shop around some replacement rear bumpers, since Black Friday sales are ramping up now.

Try taking a hair dryer or heat gun to it, good chance that will pop it out! If not you make have to take it off and try to pop it out. Hard to tell if the scratches are paint transfer or clear coat actually scratched. If you can get a small amount of lacquer thinner on a rag and wipe lightly it may come off if it is just transfer.

should pop out with heat and enough force. the scratch should come off since it looks like paint from another object (degreaser works but its not recommended)
