So I recently bought switchback signals that require 3 pins into the socket but I only have 2 so that only allows the amber leds to be in use. I was also told that for the switch-back to work, 1 wire has power constantly running to it while the 2nd is what activates the signal, is there anyway I can make them work?

I don't think there's a constant 12v nearby either on the fronts or the rears - you didn't specify which but since you have a constant amber I'm assuming front.

The quick way is to buy an inline fuse adapter and run it from your positive battery lug. Any auto parts store will have one for a couple bucks - get a blade-type that has a fully enclosed rubber fuse slot.

The better way is to use an add-a-fuse to an ignition switched fuse in the fusebox. It would be easiest to use one of the IGN slots in the small aux fusebox to the rear of the main one if your truck has one (look for one of the "fog light anytime" mod threads). I don't have a diagram to hand but there are diagrams all over the place, or one of the resident experts ( @caribe makaira ) can tell you exactly which to use.

The deluxe way would be to tap an ignition switched 12v circuit under the fusebox and run it from there - same location as you would use above but a more complicated procedure (gutting fusebox, applying a quality splice to factory harness).

If you foresee further electrical modifications, the platinum plated option is to add an aux panel under the hood - many posts here on doing that and several members selling premade kits.
